Open-air exposition “Wheel of history” in Ivye
In 2013, an open-air exposition “Wheel of History” was opened for visitors, where all the most important events in the history of the city were recorded on boulders.
Stone 1 – 1444. The first mention of Ivye as part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Stone 2 – 1495. The church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul was founded.
Stone 3 – 1569-1795. Ivye as part of the Commonwealth.
Stone 4 – 1742. Ivye received the status of a town.
Stone 5 – 1795-1917 Ivye in the Russian Empire”.
Stone 6 – ХVІІІ century Synagogue construction.
Stone 7 – 1882 Construction of a mosque.
Stone 8 – 1921-1939. Ivye as part of Poland.
Stone 9 – 09.17.1939 – 12.08.1940. Ivye in the USSR.
Stone 10 – 01.15.1940. Ivye received the status of an urban settlement, Ivye district of the Baranovichi region was created.
Stone 11 – 06.29.1941-07.07.1944. Occupation of the Ivye region by the German fascist invaders.
Stone 12 – 1994. The Orthodox Church of the Holy Martyr Baby Gabriel of Bialystok, Slutsk, was founded.
Stone 13 – 16.06.2012. The monument “In honor of friendship and harmony of the confessions of Ivyevshchyna” was unveiled.
Stone 14 – 01.15.2000. Ivye received the status of a city. On June 16, 2007, the coat of arms and the flag of the city of Ivye were approved.
