Memorable sign “In honor of friendship and harmony of the confessions of the Iviev region”

The monument was opened on June 16, 2012. It consists of four tall steles with arches dedicated to different religions. The monument is on a pedestal with steps. Each of the four steles indicates the direction to the temple of the corresponding religion. A tourist can easily find an Orthodox church, a Catholic church, a Jewish synagogue or a Muslim mosque. During the unveiling of the monument, Catholics, Jews, Muslims and Orthodox Christians consecrated their own stele. Over the many years of the city’s existence, people of different nationalities and religions have gotten along here, and there has always been friendship and understanding between them.
Ivye is an example of the coexistence of citizens of different nationalities and religions. This is the city where for many years people who are different from each other peacefully live on many grounds. Ivye is a small model of an ideal friendly world. This place is steeped in different cultures.
